Who I am

My name is Julia Weitzenegger and I was born in Davenham, England in 1967.

After completing my degree in German and Economics I worked for seven years in quality management.

During this time my interest and faith in natural and complementary medicine grew until my conviction led me to train to become a complementary medicine practitioner at the Paracelsus School in Konstanz. After passing the medical exams I did further training in a doctor's practice in Meersburg.

In 1998 I opened my own practice in Konstanz. In August 2000 my husband, Thomas, and I moved to Rottenburg am Neckar where I now have my practice in lovely rooms overlooking the river in Gartenstraße 88.

Since a life-changing experience I have become more and more aware that it is important not only to rebalance the body but also the mind and the soul.

The basis for the work I do in my practice is the sensing of blockages (on a physical, mental, emotional, energy or soul level). Such blockages inhibit the energy flow. Finding and releasing these blockages allows for self-healing to be possible on all levels.

Hippokrates' quote "Natural forces within us are the true healers of disease" forms the basis for my treatments.

In addition to my work in the practice I also offer workshops, seminars, and Reiki attunements(all levels) in which I accompany others on their own path towards self-discovery, empowerment and self-healing.

Over the last few years Thomas and I have visited sacred sites around the world (for example sites in Mexico, Egypt, Jordan and Greece). We walked The Camino from Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port via Santiago de Compostella to Finisterra and Muxia on the Spanish Atlantic coast and in 2007 I organised a spiritual tour of sacred sites in South England.

In 2008 Thomas and I produced a DVD "Reiki and more …" a comprehensive guide to Reiki and Reiki Techniques.
