Seminars
Seminars are usually one-day but can also be two-day seminars depending on which level is being taught and the number of participants. It is important that enough time is there for the attunements and for learning and practising the different Reiki techniques.
A purification phase follows each Reiki seminar. This phase lasts 21 days. The purification process is automatic; it is a means of de-toxification for both body and mind. However, during these 21 days the student must also contribute to the process by giving themselves a whole treatment. It is advisable to write a diary during this time to document emotions, feelings, symptoms etc.
Treatment
The client remains fully clothed during a Reiki treatment. Reiki flows through the material. Shoes, belt and jewellery must, however, be removed. The person giving the Reiki treatment places their hands in specific positions on the body or in the aura of the client. The Reiki energy flows through the chakras into the body and aura of the client.
