Anyone can learn and use Reiki. Reiki is divided into four levels, however, not all levels must be acquired before Reiki can be used. At the first Reiki level the channel to the universal energy is opened, remaining open for ever. Reiki is divided into different levels so that the student can gain experience in the energy levels and the possibilities open to them before moving on to the next level.
After attunement in the first Reiki level the student can do hands-on energy work. During the seminar the student learns the hands-on energy techniques (for self-treatment and full treatment of others) as well as learning all about the main energy centres - the chakras.
The second Reiki level reinforces these techniques and allows the student to increase and focus the Reiki energy and to send Reiki to persons not present. During the seminar the students learn about the three Reiki-II symbols. The first symbol serves to increase the Reiki energy. The second symbol allows the healing of emotional and psychological problems. The third symbol dissolves time and space. The Reiki energy is more intense; a full Reiki treatment, requiring about an hour with Reiki I, now only takes about fifteen minutes, with the use of the symbols.
The third Reiki level is the master level. Pre-requisite for this level is sufficient experience gained with using the second Reiki level. During the seminar the master symbol is taught. The Reiki energy increases considerably. The master level is now a time for personal development on the road to self-finding.
The fourth Reiki level is the Reiki teacher. It enables Reiki masters to accompany their own students on their Reiki journey. During the seminar the attunement process and other rituals are taught.
