Dorn Therapy / Breuss Massage
Dorn Method
The Dorn method consists of gentle pressure being applied to the spinal process of those spinal vertebrae which are no longer aligned.
In this way the spine is straightened and all vertebrae re-aligned.
The muscles are either massaged (Breuss massage) or stimulated by cupping (cup vacuum massage) before the vertebrae are re-aligned. In this way the muscles can hold the vertebrae in the proper position and not fall back into the disaligned position.
Breuss Massage
Named after Breuss, this massage is a very gentle treatment which not only has an effect on the body but also on the mind.
The muscles each side of the spine are massaged and the spine "stretched" very carefully in order to "air" the spinal discs.
