Dr. Edward Bach (1886 – 1936) worked as a doctor in immunology, pathology and bacteriology. In the course of his work he noticed that, in order for a treatment to be successful, he must also consider a person's psyche.
The connection between body, mind and spirit were of great importance to Dr. Bach. He researched botany and realised that he was sensitive enough to feel the plants' vibrations.
He chose 38 plants whose vibrations he had found to have a positive effect on the psyche (for example on patients suffering from depression or phobias etc.) and made essences out of them. The results were amazing. A short time after making this discovery, Dr. Bach was able to develop his own complete Bach Flower therapy concept.
